John Stewart guilty of a burglary in the dwelling house of Frances Patch, spinster, in the parish of Richmond on 20th November 1783: stealing therefrom 7 yards of printed cotton (valued at 16/-), 5 yards of other printed cotton (valued at 10/6), 6 silk handkerchiefs (valued at £1.7/-), 7 other silk handkerchiefs (valued at £1.10/-). 13 black silk handkerchiefs (valued at £2), 35 yards of black ribbon (valued at 14/-), 15 yards of blue ribbon (valued at 7/-) and 7 yards of white thread (valued at 14/-).
